DO YOU HAVE OUTDOOR PLAY AREAS? |
 |
Yes. We have 2. One is located directly outside our facility facing west and the other is located directly outside our facility facing north. Two are separated for different age groups of children. Of course, both are privately secured by 8' wooden fence and under constant supervision, including 5 outside video surveillance cameras.

DO CHILDREN GO ON FIELD TRIPS? |
|
Yes. Preschool children typically go on at least one field trip per month. School age children will participate in few trips per week during the summer.

IS YOUR ENVIRONMENT IS SECURE? |
|
To ensure the safety, security and well-being of the children in our care Mon Jardin has procedures and standards in place to cover pick-up and drop-off, visitors, equipment and furniture safety and more. These procedures are periodically reviewed and updated to make certain they reflect the most current safety and security technology and practices. We provide cutting edge technology security systems and procedures to make certain that children at care are completely safe in our environment. Closed circuit cameras inside every room of the building as well as outside cameras provide constant observation by live personnel as well as security system records it 24 x 7. WHAT ARE THE TEACHER-CHILD RATIOS? |

Our ratios vary by classroom. Mon Jardin meets and exceeds Illinois requirements in all classrooms.

DOES MON JARDIN PROVIDES MEALS AND SNAKS? |
|
Yes, we take care of all the nutritional needs for your child. Getting kids to eat what's good for them can be a challenge, but our on-site chef make it easy by offering not one, but four different menu choices. All delicious meals cooked freshly in our kitchen using high grade, healthy products. Parents of infants are required to provide formula/breast milk. We also try to accommodate and work with children that have special diets. We are a "Peanut Free" facility and do not use peanut based products or snacks to do the fact that many children have allergies to peanuts or peanut products.

6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

WHEN IS TUITION DUE AND WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED? |
|
Tuition is weekly and due on Mondays. However we have parents who chose to pay bi-weekly and monthly. Monthly payment is due on 1st day for the following month. We accept any form of payment convenient for you. Cash, personal checks, credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express) are welcome.

Do you have Video Surveillance? |
|
Yes, We implemented 24 hour security observation system installed in all areas of Mon Jardin Center. It provides us with recorded footage covering inside and outside areas all the time.

HOW DO YOU CHECK TEACHERS BEFORE HIRE? |
|
All employees a subject to three level security check and final approval by Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
All employees are fingerprinted by approved security firm then fingerprints are ran against criminal databases on state (State Police) and federal (FBI) database. Further results are send to DCFS of Illinois who has last word on approval of candidates. Teachers and Directors must prove necessary education credits and experience in order to qualify for their positions. In addition Mon Jardin does it's own background check including previous employment along with three letters of recommendation.
Only after complete security check applicants become employee of Mon Jardin Company.
